What Did We Play Yesterday?

Several of my factory games have had major updates since I last played, so I fired up Satisfactory and unfortunately didn't get very far. There's a glitch where my entire field of vision is obscured by a bright light whenever I try to place an electric pole. I tried to troubleshoot a bit but wasn't able to resolve that, so I will put it aside for now. I'm not too torn up because I never really meshed with the first-person perspective and kinda wanted top-down anyway.

I've been playing off and on the past few weeks, mostly mining and finding stuff for the museum. I do socialize with the townsfolk when convenient (I usually forget to swing by the Inn on Fridays). I told myself once year 1 is complete and it's spring again I'll actually do some farming. One of my issues is I've gotten kinda spoiled by automatic sprinklers and I hate watering plants, even though an upgraded can will water a significant area. There are sprinklers in this game but they are quite a ways off, so I guess I'll just have to embrace the watering can like the devs intended.

I built a massive fish farm before I realized that the Pond Penalty only applies to money. ANYWAY. The pond penalty means any pond over 36 times takes a hit to money harvesting, but XP and resources remain the same. I don't necessarily regret spending hours setting up neat lanes for 36 of each fish in the game, even though it technically doesn't matter that much. I topped it off with a massive mixed fish pond to fill in the center quadrant and I will likely enbiggen that area. This allows me to remove the fish farm I'd started in the SE quadrant, for hosey time.

Today I unlocked the last base horse at level 240, which is a beautiful horse, maybe the best horse. And as you can see, I have many other magical horses now also, necessitating the need for horse mountain. Sadly, there is a height limit and I reached it unfortunately quickly, so the great steppes upon which my magical horses live will be limited in their majesty, but only a little.

I have been playing bibeo game, I have NOT been taking screenshots because idgaf right now, but I did take pictures of my cyber setup because I am building an even more stupid massive fish farm, and the cyber area is in the way, so I had to flatten it.

I'm setting up a farmhand quadrant that has 36x1 fish pools extending from each side, creating a massive plus sign shape. I, perhaps unwisely, started this in an area which now directly contradicts numerous existing areas, but this was really the only place left on the farm I could pace it without destroying a lot more stuff. I am committed to this concept, but I may end up having to half-ass one side. We will see.

This is all because it pleases me to have a farmhand who passively levels up all my fish with maximum efficiency, and the other one I built was squanched into the corner and not living up to its full potential. Also, I want to put horsies there.
