Online Simulator by rosalievile is a short unravel-the-story “found computer” game where the player explores a fictional online space and learns a terrible secret.

The game is in the vein of A Normal Lost Phone, but with the style and sensibilities of Hypnospace Outlaw and a really dark, disturbing edge.

Somehow this game manages to smash several things I love, including the X-Files fandom, Web 1.0 nostalgia, incredible weirdness, slow-burn creepiness and body horror, into one lovingly garish package. There are a lot of rabbit holes and small details, it takes about an hour to fully explore.
