Planetarium: The Reverie of a Little Planet

2018-04-09

Planetarium is a short post-apocalyptic kinetic JVN by Key. It’s about a junker who discovers a planetarium robot faithfully engaged in her duties in a dead city. The average playtime is around 3 hours. This is an older VN (2004) and it shows in interface and style, but the translation is good and the voice acting is enjoyable. By the end I WAS NOT CRYING YOU WERE CRYING.

Don’t get me started on Robot Heaven. I can’t handle it.

The HD version of this game does not have English language support and I have no idea why that is. There is theoretically an unofficial patch but it may require some digging to find.

Journeying into the heart of the cheevs, we find 41% try the game and 27% finish, and exactly 2% don’t give a shit about taking five seconds to get the last two cheevs for a perfect game. Somewhere on the Internet there is a Steam alignment chart, and this 2% resides within the Chaotic Neutral square.
