Plantera 2: Golden Acorn
I enjoyed and 100% the first Plantera, and I’ve been meaning to pick this up for some time. I thought I was finally in a clicker mood, but within about a meager 30 minutes I was like hmmmmmmmmm. Maybe I’m not in a mindless clicking mood. Or even a passive non-clicking mood, for that matter.
The game is cute, though. The player populates a garden with varying levels of terrain (crops, bushes, fruit trees) and harvests the bounty for coins to buy–you guessed it! More terrain stuff! Various pests come to gobble your crops, and you can shoo them away to keep them from stealing your precious.
I think the rise of bullet-hell auto-clickers has me expecting more ooph to my clickery. Like, exploding skulls umph. IDK. I had a menagerie of these types of games on my list but I’m rethinking it now.
